How We Work

From Your Request to Your Appointment

Here’s how the process typically unfolds, though the exact steps can shift depending on the procedure, provider, and your own needs.

Step 1: Tell Us What You’re Looking For

Start by telling us what procedure or treatment you’re considering. It helps to include your preferred dates, location, budget range, language needs, and anything else practical. The more we know, the more relevant the providers we can identify.

Step 2: We Research Providers

We look into Korean providers who offer what you’re after, drawing on official provider sites and other public information. Our full selection process is laid out in our Provider Selection Policy, and our Partnership & Commercial Disclosure confirms that providers do not pay us for any of it.

Step 3: We Reach Out to Providers

When you’re ready, we contact providers directly to check on things like availability, pricing, appointment options, and international patient services, then pass along what we learn as accurately as we can.

Step 4: You Weigh Your Options

From there, it’s up to you. We’re not making the medical decision: you decide whether to contact, consult with, or move forward with any given provider.

Step 5: Scheduling a Consultation

Once you’re ready to proceed, we coordinate with the provider to set up a consultation, in person or online if that’s offered.

Step 6: Coordinating the Appointment

If you decide to go ahead with treatment, we help arrange the appointment as part of the service you’ve agreed to. All medical matters remain the provider’s responsibility.

Step 7: Interpretation, If You Need It

Need an interpreter? We can arrange one as a paid add-on, availability permitting. Their job is simply to bridge the conversation between you and the provider. What that covers, and what it does not, is explained on our Medical Interpretation & Patient Support page.

Step 8: Locking In the Details

Before your appointment, we help confirm the logistics: date, time, location, how the consultation will run, and interpreter arrangements if you’ve booked one.

Important: Clinic Korea handles communication and logistics, and the provider handles the medicine. Before deciding on any procedure, talk directly with your provider about the benefits, risks, alternatives, expected results, recovery, and cost.

We keep these steps the same whatever the treatment or provider, so you always know what stage your request is at and what happens next. A request that is specific about timing, budget and language needs lets us ask providers the right questions the first time, which is why we ask for that detail upfront. The individual services are described on our Our Services page.
